We are looking for a People & Culture Consultant who doesn’t just “manage processes,” but takes ownership of them, ensuring every stage of the employee journey reflects excellence. This role is for someone who wants to be the person managers turn to first , the one who makes sure probation reviews are not forgotten, performance conversations happen on time, and recognition feels genuine.


Key Focus Areas

  • Recruitment & Employer Branding : Manage end-to-end recruitment, guide managers on competency-based interviews, ensure accurate documentation, and support employer branding initiatives.
  • Onboarding & Probation : Co-ordinate induction and onboarding processes, ensure payroll and compliance deadlines are met, and guide managers through probation reviews.
  • Employee Relations & Performance : Provide first-line ER support, advise managers on performance reviews, promotions, and increases, escalating complex cases where required.
  • Learning, Wellbeing & Recognition : Implement wellbeing initiatives, coordinate surveys, long service awards, birthdays, recognition events and promote LinkedIn Learning pathways. 
  • Payroll & Administration : Prepare and check documentation for payroll changes, leave, benefits, and additional earnings; ensure audit and PoPIA standards are met. 
  • Offboarding : Manage resignations, retirements, and terminations, ensuring termination packs, UI19 forms, and recognition activities are completed
Key Requirements 
  • Degree (NQF 7) in HR or related field .
  • Registered Psychometrist with the HPCSA will be advantageous.
  • 3–5 years’ HR/People & Culture experience with strong exposure to recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Proven ability to manage documentation, systems, and deadlines with accuracy and accountability.
  • Confidence to guide managers and influence outcomes while maintaining professionalism.
  • A proactive, solutions-driven approach with strong attention to detail.
