The IIE Varsity College , Pietermaritzburg campus has a vacancy for a Part time lecturer within the School of Management for the below module:

• Accounting Software (ACSO5122)

Competencies required:

• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent Presentation Skills
• Assertiveness and dynamism
• Understanding of customer service in education
• Demonstrate an ability to manage work and self proactively

Minimum Education Requirements: 

• Ideally, a 3 year Diploma in Accounting; OR
• A 3-year Diploma in one of the Business-related fields with Accounting or Financial Management up to the third year level; OR
• An Advanced Certificate in Accounting or Financial Management.
• Lecturers will need a Sage One Accounting/Sage Accounting or a Sage Business Cloud Accounting certification.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

• Lecturing experience in Accounting, Finance, or Asset Management;
• Practical experience as an Accountant, Financial Advisor, or Asset Manager;
• Proficiency in Pastel or Sage Accounting software.

Working Conditions: 

• Please note that this is a Part-time role with lectures taking place between 08:00 and 17:00.
  
• Preference will be given to South African Citizens and Permanent Residents of South Africa in possession of proof of permanent resident status.
